Suddenly my little baby is... a little boy.
On Sunday, I bought him a little Ikea potty, and he sat on it for the first time. Then yesterday, at Angela's house, he sat on the big toilet for the first time. I'm sure he'll love me posting this later on, but it marks such a momentous occasion, a passage of rites.
On Monday, the Choi boys and the three of us went to the Sugar Refinery. Téa sat in her stroller, while Kaeden walked all by himself with his little buddies. He looked so big!! We had a blast there.

- I was once on the path of a (possibly successful) business career before I got sidetracked by a love of teaching. Now, I've "retired" from the workforce and am a stay-at-home mom (read: one income) with two toddlers. We've made some choices so that I can be at home with the kids in one of the most expensive cities in North America. But we're learning along the way that by changing our attitudes and changing how we spend, we can feel like we're living a luxurious life. And we are. We are so blessed. WAY MORE THAN WE DESERVE.
