New Year’s Eve (a.k.a. Kaeden’s First Christmas at Home)
We pretended tonight was Christmas Eve and let Kaeden open one present. He was thrilled (at least, we were!).

K.L. Shopping
We spent the day at malls
around K.L. We passed by a Crocs store, and since Kaeden seems to love everyone’s Crocs, I wanted to see if he would fall in love with the giant Hello Kitty one. Unfortunately, we couldn’t buy it. We did find a good deal on these Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme cards. We bought them for Kaeden, and placed them in his lap. Kaeden looked at them, then
looked up at us with a glimmer of a smile, as if to say, “Really? They’re for me?!” He proceeded to do his double kicks, holding tightly onto them as we strolled around the mall. Next thing we know, he’s fast asleep, and has tucked his new present under his legs to keep them safe.

First Christmas Eve
I love how Kaeden looks very suspicious of the Santas in each one of the photos! Each Santa gave him a different gift, including candy, candy canes, and the ever popular Cereal packet.

Going to Malaysia
It’s been a long day! We headed out around 9am this morning, and arrived at our hotel in Kuala Lumpur after 9pm. Kaeden hates the plane and just cried and cried. Poor little guy. But he met his new friend Riley, who is 10 months older than him. They inspected each other and we think the friendship has been okayed.

Kaeden’s Second Day in Taipei
At one point in the day, he fell fast asleep with his arms stuck in the air. Maybe he was too bundled up?
We stayed at Auntie Rebecca’s house, and she had a present for him! Sorry, Auntie Rebecca, but the wrapping was my favourite part!

Christmas in Taipei – Day 1
Kaeden also got his first Christmas present. We saw this giant monkey with a pokable belly button, and couldn’t resist it. So we bought it for him, courtesy of Popo and Gonggong since they had sent us money to buy something for him. What was doubly fun was seeing everyone’s reactions of a giant monkey atop a stroller with a tiny baby.
Oh. And Kaeden LOVES the monkey!
