We started the morning off with Kaeden figuring out that spinning in circles is a lot of fun. For almost an hour, he would spin in a circle, (with breaks in between), and crack up laughing.
This evening, we were invited for a dinner party at the Wardles. There were 17 people (adults & kids) – including the Muir & Michael clans, and later were joined by four more – the Multras. Kaeden had a blast running around the place playing with all these older kids ranging from 6 to 14!)
At one point, he was sitting in a chair with little M. Muir, a 6-year-old. She was holding an Oreo, and he suddenly saw it. He started rubbing his chest to say “please!!!!!”, but she had no clue that it meant that. He couldn’t wait any longer, so little K just grabbed the cookie out of her hand, and the look of shock and delight on little M was just precious. She was quick enough to steal it back before he could shove it in his mouth.
Later, I thought he had found food on the floor and was putting it in his mouth, but it was M. Multra (a 10-year-old), who was feeding him another Oreo! About 10 minutes later, she came over to me holding little K. Little K’s face was just smeared with Oreo, and she proudly told me that “he ate the whole cracker, AND the other side, and he even ate all the middle too!” It was hilarious. I laughed at his dirty face, and she informed me that this smeared look was her attempt at cleaning him off. Needless to say, he had a thrilling night.
