This morning, Kaeden sat in his new booster seat, and I put a bunch of Cheerios on his table. He ate some, and probably because he was getting full, he starts to take them, one at a time, thankfully, and throwing them on the floor. At one point, as he was about to drop the Cheerio over the edge, I said, “不行!” He looked at me, brought the Cheerio back to the table, then proceeded to chuck it over the edge. That little monkey! :)
He had real people lunch again today – we went to the Chois, and had 米台目 (or Bi Tai Ba, or something like that in Taiwanese). It was really good and Kaeden loved it.
This afternoon, he only took a short nap, so he was really grumpy and wanted to just suck his thumb. He was playing, then decided he wanted to crawl to me. The obstacle? His thumb was in his mouth and he couldn’t figure out how to crawl without letting it go. The poor guy! :)

- I was once on the path of a (possibly successful) business career before I got sidetracked by a love of teaching. Now, I've "retired" from the workforce and am a stay-at-home mom (read: one income) with two toddlers. We've made some choices so that I can be at home with the kids in one of the most expensive cities in North America. But we're learning along the way that by changing our attitudes and changing how we spend, we can feel like we're living a luxurious life. And we are. We are so blessed. WAY MORE THAN WE DESERVE.
