Kaeden's first injury. He gets so excited about the books that now he's knocking his head into the sharp edges of our wooden bookcase. And just now, he got a little bump.
He's also been a real grouch since Friday (Oct. 16). He just won't sleep through the night anymore and I have a feeling it's cause he's ready to eat solids. He just will not stop staring whenever we eat anything with a spoon out of a bowl.
Either that, or he's teething.
In any case, I'm not ready.

Now, I've "retired" from the workforce and am a stay-at-home mom (read: one income) with two toddlers. We've made some choices so that I can be at home with the kids in one of the most expensive cities in North America. But we're learning along the way that by changing our attitudes and changing how we spend, we can feel like we're living a luxurious life. And we are. We are so blessed. WAY MORE THAN WE DESERVE.
