He just turned 18 months and 3 days old. Time passes by quickly… and our little baby is looking more like a little boy every day. He is so hilarious and entertaining – we are unbelievably lucky. Things he loves to do lately:
- swing (he loves the baby swing, but just learned how to hold onto a big kid swing)
- shoes (he just inherited a pair of crocs and absolutely adores them – in fact, he cried when A had to take them back to wash them)
- balls (yes, he still loves all sorts of balls. He’s now big into kicking them as hard as he can, which means he ends up missing half the kicks)
- swinging upside down (he loves being held by his feet and spun in circles upside down)
- dancing!!!
- batting
- Henry (he’s been calling everyone about his size “Honey” – his version of “Henry”)
- oatmeal (still!)
- SNACKS (the word and the food)
- “No, no, no!” (he loves saying this in a British accent, although we’re still not sure if he really knows the meaning of the word or if he just enjoys the sound of it)
- Going OUT (anywhere – he’s definitely his mommy’s son – he just wants to go out everyday)
- drawing (he especially likes drawing with erasable/ whiteboard markers. As for Crayola – nope!)
- hamming it up for cameras
- “racing” (he will stand against a wall, prep himself, and say, “Go (or rather “Doh!”)” and start running… then stop about halfway and return to the wall and start again)
- Doing the Old Man Pose (his new default stance is hands-behind-back)
That’s all I can think of for now, but I thought I’d better write it down before I forgot!
